This full-time position at the Parents Legal Centre (PLC) emphasizes a holistic approach to family law. You will assist Indigenous clients in navigating the legal landscape, empowering them with vital information and resources while collaborating with various community services. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough review of intake applications for legal aid
• Forge partnerships with Indigenous organizations and leaders
• Deliver workshops on legal processes and support services to communities




• Provide clients access to necessary legal representation
• Liaise with courts and related agencies to support clients

Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 with relevant post-secondary education
• At least 5 years in a legal work setting
• Strong communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural contexts
• Indigenous ancestry preferred for applicants
