Overview
Field Marketing & Community Manager
Full-Time Field-Based Greater Toronto Area
$70,000 to $80,000 base salary, plus performance incentives
The chance
LMNT is entering Canada, and this is where you come in. LMNT is a zero-sugar electrolyte drink mix built for people who sweat: 1,000mg of sodium, 200mg of potassium, 60mg of magnesium, and none of the junk. One of the fastest-growing hydration brands in the United States is launching in Ontario this fall, and this role is the engine of that launch.
You will build LMNT's presence from the ground up: growing the brand's footprint in the athletic communities where our consumers live and train, building relationships across specialty retail and club culture, and taking the brand directly to consumers through a team of ambassadors at events, races, and consumer moments across the province.
This is a full-time, field-based role. You're not in an office. You're in the community.
Who you are
An active athlete or deeply embedded in fitness culture: you run, cycle, train, or coach
Plugged into the Toronto athletic community. People know you, and you know everyone
Confident, magnetic, and comfortable in front of any audience, retail buyer or race start line
Self-directed and energized by being out in the world, not behind a desk
Passionate about performance, nutrition, and what LMNT stands for
A strong written and verbal communicator, equally at home presenting the brand and managing a field team
What you'll do
Community & retail marketing — 60%
Grow LMNT's presence across Ontario's athletic communities: running, cycling, fitness, yoga, triathlon, golf, and racquet sport channels
Build relationships with store owners, club operators, and community gatekeepers
Introduce the brand across specialty retail and generate leads for the Headwater sales team
Support the Headwater sales team at trade events and retailer introductions
Coordinate in-store demo days and support on-shelf brand presence and merchandising
Gather market and community insights and report them to leadership
Field & ambassador management — 40%
Recruit, train, and lead a network of LMNT brand ambassadors across Ontario
Plan and execute guerrilla and event-based sampling at races, expos, and consumer events
Build and manage the Q4 sampling calendar; execute activations on the ground
Track field results, gather consumer feedback, and report to leadership
Manage product inventory for all sampling programs and field activations
Qualifications
2 to 4 years in brand marketing, field activation, or community management; sports or wellness industry preferred
Existing relationships within Ontario's specialty athletic retail or fitness community
Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle; this is a field-based role
Flexibility for weekend events, race days, and activation schedules
Familiarity with CRM tools and basic field reporting
What we offer
The ground floor of one of the world's fastest-growing electrolyte brands entering Canada
$70,000 to $80,000 base salary, plus performance incentives tied to community, lead, and field results
Expense coverage for travel, field operations, and event activations
A product you'll be proud to carry into every room
A team that moves fast, rewards initiative, and believes in the mission
