Join the YRDSB as an instructor for the Night School Aquatic Leadership Program. This position involves a combination of online and in-person teaching formats.

As a part of the Aquatic Leadership Program, you will lead students through the Grade 10 Healthy Living curriculum and teach essential lifeguarding skills during both Fall and Winter sessions. Your role will focus on ensuring student success through creative and inclusive teaching methods while evaluating their progress based on Lifesaving Society standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute curriculum for aquatic leadership
• Conduct engaging pool and classroom instruction
• Collect and report on student achievement data
• Support an inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with other staff members

Requirements:
• Ontario Certified Teacher with relevant qualifications
• Lifesaving Society certifications required
• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Commitment to attending scheduled classes and sessions
