Construction Project Coordinator location: Downtown Toronto, ON | Travel: 30-50% across Canada and the U.S. Our client is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to support industrial development and construction projects across North America. This role will entail coordinating projects from planning and permitting through completion, while supporting the ongoing management of an existing property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate multiple construction and development projects, tracking budgets, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Support tendering and contractor selection, including reviewing bids, agreements, invoices, and project progress.
Assist with site readiness by coordinating permits, licensing, inspections, infrastructure, and construction requirements.
Review drawings, specifications, surveys, and other construction documentation.
Work with consultants, contractors, government agencies, tenants, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
Support property teams with capital planning, tenant alterations, and project turnover.




Help identify and resolve construction or regulatory issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in industrial construction, development, or project coordination.
Knowledge of construction processes, permits, licensing, zoning, and regulatory requirements.
Strong project organization and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Confident communicator with experience working with contractors, consultants, tenants, and government stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving and evolving setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or Yardi is an asset.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the GTA and other Canadian/U.S. markets.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for site visits.
The ideal candidate is practical, organized, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership of projects while working with a wide range of stakeholders.
