Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM OR 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with rotation on Saturdays every three weeks (depending on shop requirements)

Responsibilities
Complete thorough and quality diagnostic,
service and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers (when required)
Complete preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts
Update the Service Manager on estimated completion time changes
Road test the unit to ensure quality of work completed
Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on repair order
Maintain a clean and secure work environment
Qualifications:
Required
5+ years? experience as a Truck & Transport Mechanic
Journeyperson Certification (Red Seal preferred)
PMVI certification (Periodic Mandatory Vehicle Inspections)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to Interpret technical manuals and schematics
Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in the trade
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Preferred
Cummins Medium Duty Engine certification (ISB, B7.7, L Series)
Cummins Heavy Duty Engine certification (X15)
MPI issued School Bus PMVI Certification
Diamond Certification
Valid Manitoba Class 3 Driver?s License (Class 1 an asset)
