For the upcoming school year of 2026/2027, Yukon Education is looking for temporary Teacher on Calls at Khàtìnas.àxh Community School. Your responsibilities will include executing lesson plans, ensuring classroom management, and fostering a supportive educational atmosphere. Supervision of students during recess and collaborating with colleagues will also form a vital part of your role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach according to set lesson plans on a day-to-day basis
• Create and maintain a positive classroom climate
• Manage student interactions and classroom behavior
• Supervise students during lunch and breaks
• Collaborate effectively with other school staff

Requirements:
• Must possess a High School Diploma
• Previous experience working with children
• Bachelor of Education degree preferred
• Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate an asset
• Required to have an RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check
