Embark on a cutting-edge research journey as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Chemistry Department at the University of Cambridge. Focus on defect engineering in cathode materials for lithium and sodium-ion batteries in this fixed-term position.
Under the mentorship of Prof. Dame Clare P. Grey, you will design and synthesize creative cathode materials while studying their electrochemical performance. The role demands hands-on experience with battery assembly and electrochemical testing techniques, including galvanostatic cycling and impedance spectroscopy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and synthesize new cathode materials for batteries
• Perform electrochemical measurements to evaluate defects' roles
