NEOFACS seeks a dedicated Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician for an 18-month contract in Kirkland Lake. Deliver psychotherapy and counselling to support youth and their families.
In this position, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team focused on addressing the behavioral, social, and emotional needs of children up to 18 years. The successful candidate will utilize innovative strategies while fostering cooperative relationships with peers, ensuring effective therapeutic services tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide innovative psychotherapy and counselling sessions
• Engage in thorough clinical assessments for children
• Collaborate consistently with a multidisciplinary team
• Address family dynamics and provide support recommendations
• Conduct targeted single session interventions
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
• Registration with relevant Ontario colleges required
• Experience in children's mental health clinical practice
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid G2 license with a willingness to obtain G Class
