Job Title: Shipper and Receiver
Job Description
This role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and shipping Health Canada regulated allergen medicines for clinics, working in a small shipping department within a pharmaceutical warehouse. You will work closely with a teammate to manage inventory and documentation, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
Responsibilities
Pick and pack allergen medicines accurately according to order requirements and Health Canada regulations.
Perform daily shipping and receiving activities, including preparing orders for cross-border shipment.
Use computer systems to enter, track, and verify shipment and inventory information with a high level of accuracy.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
Handle fragile pharmaceutical products carefully to prevent damage during picking, packing, and shipping.
Maintain organized inventory in the warehouse, including counting, labeling, and storing products correctly.
Complete all required documentation for shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments in a timely manner.
Collaborate closely with a small shipping/receiving team to coordinate workload and meet daily deadlines.
Support general warehouse duties as needed to ensure smooth operations within a small facility.
Take ownership of your role and department, demonstrating reliability and accountability in all tasks.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of order picking experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Minimum 2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
Experience working with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Strong computer skills for data entry, documentation, and inventory tracking.
Background in a regulated industry, preferably related to pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
Experience with inventory management processes.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a small team setting.
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills to meet regulatory requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
SAP experience for managing orders, inventory, and shipping documentation.
Valid reach truck license for operating warehouse equipment.
Previous pharmaceutical industry experience, particularly with Health Canada regulated products.
Comfort working in a small warehouse facility and small company environment.
Ability to handle fragile products with care and precision.

Work Workplace
This position is based in a small pharmaceutical warehouse facility with a total team of four people on site, including two dedicated to shipping and receiving. The environment is very clean and organized due to the nature of the products, which are fragile and require careful handling. You must be comfortable working in a small space and in a small company setting where roles are clearly defined and ownership of responsibilities is expected. The standard shift runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one unpaid 30‑minute lunch and two paid 15‑minute breaks. Steel‑toed shoes are required as part of the dress code. The facility operates with a small team mentality, emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and a supportive, family‑style atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
