- Define system architecture and system/subsystem requirements for EV charging products.
- Translate product and customer needs into clear technical requirements and specifications.
- Develop verification plans, validation strategies, DFMEAs, and Design Verification Test Plans.
- Lead system integration, troubleshooting, and V&V; activities.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, and product teams.
- Support product compliance with standards such as SAE J1772, IEC 61851, ISO 15118, OCPP, UL, and CSA.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Electrical Systems Engineering experience.
- Strong background in power electronics, power conversion, or electrical power systems.
- Experience with EV charging, BESS, renewable energy, solar, or microgrids.
- Solid knowledge of requirements management, system architecture, integration, and V&V.;
- Experience with tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or Jama is an asset.
- V2G/V2X, OCPP, ISO 15118, DFMEA, UL/CSA, and NEC/NFPA experience is an asset.
