National Taekwondo is looking for a warm, responsible, and energetic teacher to join our Afterschool Program team.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and can create a protected, positive, and engaging environment. Previous experience is welcome, but full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support children in the Afterschool Program
Lead games, arts and crafts, and group activities
Assist children with homework and reading
Help maintain a secure, clean, and organized environment
Support school pickup and student transitions when required
Communicate professionally with parents and other team members
Qualifications
Responsible, patient, caring, and dependable
Comfortable working with children between 4 and 12 years old
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to speak Korean is strongly preferred
ECE certification or childcare experience is an asset
A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record are assets
Must be willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
