GEMS is seeking an Estimator to enhance our Sales and Marketing Team. This role focuses on developing competitive estimates for environmental services, requiring solid analytical and communication skills.

As an Estimator at GEMS, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the company's growth and profitability. This position involves reviewing contract documents and technical reports to determine project scopes, conducting detailed take-offs, and collaborating with various internal teams, including Client Services and Operations.

You'll also track prospects, manage submissions, and build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform all estimating functions for GEMS services
Review contract documents and prepare accurate take-offs




Gather information from procurement platforms
Negotiate and convert proposals into awarded projects
Collaborate with Project Managers for project delivery

Requirements:
Post-Secondary diploma or relevant work experience
Robust communication and analytical abilities
Valid Ontario driver’s license
Experience in estimating, construction, or environmental services
Willingness to work in various conditions
