Adecco is currently hiring an Interim Procurement / Supply Chain Specialist for a full-time temporary opportunity in Valleyfield, QC. This onsite role is ideal for an experienced procurement professional who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and can quickly step in to support day-to-day supply chain and administrative operations during a leave of absence.

In this position, you will support procurement activities, vendor coordination, inventory management, and plant administration while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience

Location: Valleyfield, QC

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Day Shift

Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary contract (approximately 2-3 months)

Responsibilities

Support daily procurement and supply chain activities within the manufacturing plant





Enter and monitor purchase orders in SAP and follow up on order statuses using system reports

Review supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and proper matching to purchase orders

Create and maintain vendor records, including vendor setup and support through the Coupa platform

Maintain SAP master data for maintenance parts, including pricing updates

Source suppliers and identify required materials and parts for operations

Manage office supply and sanitation product inventories

Coordinate and track certificates of analysis and packaging delivery schedules

Monitor corporate credit card purchases and complete expense reallocations in Concur

Enter and maintain packaging usage and receipt data, including updates in Simpro

Assist with physical inventory counts for raw materials, packaging, and maintenance parts

Maintain and update files related to critical spare parts and competitive bidding processes

Process purchase requests from the management team

Organize and maintain procurement documentation on SharePoint

Answer incoming calls and coordinate visitor reception activities

Prepare invitation letters for external visitors

Assist with plant meetings, events, and administrative coordination

Provide administrative support to the Director of Finance as required

Support users with guidance and basic training related to procurement processes in SAP

Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures





Participate in occupational health and safety training and complete weekly Layered Process Audits (LPA)

Qualifications

Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within a manufacturing environment

Education or training in purchasing, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Working knowledge of SAP is required

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Bilingual in French and English, both written and verbal

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a short-term assignment

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Flexible team player capable of supporting multiple stakeholders and priorities
