As an Auxiliary Attendant, you will manage daily operations, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. This includes handling customer inquiries about proper recycling practices, overseeing traffic flow, and maintaining a tidy and protected depot environment. You will need to work various hours, making this job adaptable to your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations at the transfer station
• Ensure safe traffic movement and clean facilities
• Secure the depot outside operating hours
• Provide instructions and assist customers on site
• Sort and package incoming recyclable materials
Requirements:
• High School Graduation necessary
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
• WHMIS Certification essential
• Knowledge of Waste Management regulations
• Basic First Aid (OFA 1) certification
