Assume a leadership role in mechanical systems at BC Ferries in Victoria. As the Engineering Lead, focus on advanced propulsion and ship support systems critical for fleet renewal.

In this influential position, the Mechanical Systems Engineering Lead will be responsible for the design and engineering of both propulsion and auxiliary systems. You will engage with a range of stakeholders, providing expert input on technical specifications and ensuring that all systems meet stringent standards. Collaborating with teams, your influence will drive the success of BC Ferries' ambitious fleet enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver senior mechanical engineering guidance on system designs
• Oversee technical integration and performance verification




• Develop comprehensive engineering specifications and documents
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Conduct design evaluations and risk analysis

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• 5+ years of progressive marine engineering experience
• Preferred Master's degree in relevant field
• P. Eng. license is advantageous
• Proven history in shipboard systems design
