We are looking for an organised and proactive GP+ Community Team Leader to coordinate the day-to-day work of our administrative team and help our GP+ Community Services run smoothly.

What is the role?
Coordinate and monitor the daily administrative workload, delegate tasks and reprioritise work in response to service pressures, staff absence and changing demand.
Actively process patient referrals and oversee appointments and administration across GP+,ADHD and Suffolk Weight Management services, using systems including EMIS, SystmOne and e-Referral.
Provide first-line support and guidance to administrative colleagues, support induction and training, resolve routine operational issues and escalat service risks or staffing concerns promptly.

You’ll join our GP+ Community Services team at Riverside Clinic. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, as well as Urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.

Is it for me?
We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role.

You are highly organised, able to balance competing priorities and comfortable coordinating the work of others in a busy service environment.
You communicate clearly and professionally with patients, GP practices, health care providers and colleagues, and can provide practical support and guidance when issues arise.
You are confident using patient administration and referral systems, or can quickly learn systems such as EMIS, SystmOne and e-Referral, while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.
