General Production Worker (Contract) Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and follow work instructions.

Pick, count, bag, and label parts accurately for production needs.

Follow SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Rotate between kitting and assembly workstations as needed.

Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.

Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards .

Complete basic documentation and data entry using MS Excel and Word .

Meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Participate in required training and certifications.

Required Skills 1+ year of mechanical assembly/manufacturing experience. Basic hand tools and power tools

Experience using hand tools (torque drivers, power tools, etc.).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently .

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office .

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality processes.

Flexible and adaptable to changing production needs.

Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications First Aid certification (nice to have).

Comfortable working around machinery and moving equipment.

Willingness to wear PPE and ESD protection.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Work Environment Clean manufacturing facility with a fast-paced production environment.

Exposure to noise, dust, metals, and manufacturing equipment.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Markham, ON.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Markham,ON.
