Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations within the Division of Anatomic Pathology Receives, accessions, requests and returns pathology and biomarker consultation material Performs digital slide image management Works with medical staff, management, peers to support the patient care activities of the Division Interacts collaboratively and professionally with clinical providers and external services Qualifications/Skills
Completion of a recognized medical office administration program with medical terminology course preferred Experience in healthcare industry required Proficient with Microsoft 365 including Outlook Typing speed of 50 words per minute Ability to maintain accuracy and productivity in a high-volume work environment Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills (both written and verbal) Effective multitasking skills Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
