Become a Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary Educational Assistant at G.H. Dawe School, working 24 hours weekly from Monday to Thursday. Engage with students and support their developmental needs in a nurturing environment.

This role commences as soon as a suitable candidate is found and lasts until June 30, 2027. Your primary focus will be assisting students, especially those with complex needs or behaviours. An Educational Assistant Certificate or similar education is an asset for this position, along with experience in supporting children's unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective support to students daily
• Collaborate with teachers to facilitate learning
• Engage with children exhibiting complex behaviours




• Exercise problem-solving skills in various scenarios
• Handle toileting and lifting tasks as required

Requirements:
• Educational Assistant Certificate or relevant education
• Prior experience working with children is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks
• Robust problem-solving skills for classroom challenges
• Obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
