Job Description: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Order supplies and equipment
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Recruit and hire staff
Manage kitchen operations
Organize and manage buffets and banquets
Occasionally wash dishes




Requirements – Education:Completion of High School is required
– Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook is required. If the candidate does not have 3 years of experience, then a post-secondary certificate is required
-Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced setting, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, and attention to detail, handling heavy loads and physically demanding
-Personal suitability: Judgement, flexibility, team player, organized, initiative, dependability, and reliability
Language: English is required
Salary: $ 18.00 hourly, 40 to 44 hours per week
Gratuities. If the worker needs to relocate, the employer will cover the travel expenses
Flexibility on schedule is required. We are open 7 days a week from 11:00 am – 12:00 amSundays toThursdaysand from 11:00 am – 1:00 amFridays and Saturdays. A typical shift would be 5 – 7 hours. Work on weekends and holidays are required. Overtime may be required.
