The City of Belleville is excited to announce openings for Winter Operations Casual Labourers. Reporting to Operations Supervisors, you will assist with snow clearing and general maintenance tasks. This role offers a unique prospect to serve the community and requires operating equipment to ensure public safety during winter months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain snow clearing equipment
• Assist with garbage collection and general upkeep
• Work collaboratively with permanent staff
• Maintain logs and comply with safety guidelines
• Report any public concerns or equipment issues
Requirements:
• Valid High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clean Class G Driver's Licence
• Six months of experience in maintenance or labor
• Capacity to perform in adverse weather conditions
• Must own safety boots and display a positive attitude
