This four-hour position involves working closely with the School Principal and Early Learning Coordinator, focusing on implementing StrongStart BC Early Learning programs. The Early Childhood Educator will utilize the British Columbia Early Learning Framework to guide program development and maintain daily records. Engaging parents in their children’s education and facilitating smooth transitions into kindergarten are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement programs based on the Early Learning Framework
• Keep detailed daily records for program tracking
• Produce necessary reports and collaborative work plans
• Set up and manage Early Learning initiatives
• Encourage parental participation in educational activities
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current BC Early Childhood Education certification
• FoodSafe certification
• Minimum one year experience with children 0-5
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
