DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineering Area Manager is responsible for leading the manufacturing engineering team in developing the MBOM and work instructions and supporting the production line through managing scope, cost and schedule. This role collaborates with multiple functions including Engineering, Supply Chain, Program and Production to ensure the team delivers on commitments. Production shop floor support employees may be exposed to loud noise, dust, weld fume, paint and extreme temperatures. Production shop floor support employees may also assist the touch labour with the movement parts equipment as requested, this may include light lifting. In addition, Production shop floor support employees may be required to complete various administrative tasks depending on the job function. Computer based desk work is also required throughout the day. Production shop floor support employees may be required to work shift work which may include rotation between day, afternoon, and night shifts.
