Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist (10+ years of experience) to manage IT sourcing initiatives using RFx and technology procurement

Join a Supply Chain team supporting active and upcoming IT sourcing initiatives within the power and utilities sector. This role manages sourcing activities from intake through contract execution across IT software/SaaS, technology services, professional services, hardware, and telecommunications procurement. The position requires an execution-oriented resource capable of independently leading competitive sourcing events and supporting commercial negotiations in a fast-paced environment.

Must Haves

5+ years of IT procurement and sourcing experience

Independent delivery of competitive sourcing events from initiation through award

Commercial negotiation and supplier management capabilities

Work with IT , Cybersecurity , and Finance stakeholders on sourcing initiatives

Strong understanding of SaaS , licensing, professional services, and technology contracting commercial models

Nice to Have

IT software and telecommunications procurement exposure

Ability to onboard quickly with minimal ramp-up

Concurrent management of multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

Develop sourcing strategies for IT procurement initiatives

Prepare and execute RFx events

Conduct commercial evaluations

Support commercial negotiations with suppliers

Coordinate stakeholder and supplier engagement activities

Support contract development and execution
