Located in the scenic James Bay area of Québec, this position involves a 14/14 work rotation with 12-hour shifts. You will be tasked with overseeing preventive maintenance and rapid repairs across various hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to support operations. Additionally, training of junior mechanics will be necessary to maintain high work quality and safety compliance in the mechanic shop workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead comprehensive maintenance on diesel and hydraulic equipment
• Schedule work priorities and maintain detailed records




• Facilitate emergency repairs for urgent mechanical issues
• Mentor apprentices through hands-on training
• Monitor safety conditions and equipment performance

Requirements:
• Heavy Duty Mechanic certification preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in technical document interpretation
• Experience with mining-specific machinery
• Strong competency in using office software
