Les Cultures Tournesol inc. is located at Saint-Marc-des-Carrières, QC. The company is actively seeking applicants for the role of Gardener helper. The applicant should be a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The selected candidate will be expected to join and start the work at the earliest. It will be a Seasonal employment or Full time job. The candidate must work on the Day shift. LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) has approved the Gardener helper position.

The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.

The candidate must cut grass.

The candidate must lay sod or seed.

The candidate must water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.

The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in French language.

There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Candidate having experience is an asset.

The candidate must be flexible.

The candidate should be reliable.

The candidate should be a good team player.

The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.





The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty and hot conditions.

The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work setting

The candidate should work in the landscape maintenance division, which is the art and profession of keeping a landscape healthy, clean, secure, and attractive, usually in a garden, yard, park, institutional setting, or estate.

The candidate must work in parks and recreational sites.

The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.

Equipment and machinery experience

The candidate must have experience using chainsaws, small engine equipment, tractors, tractor mowers, and weed trimmers/edgers.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
