Provide compassionate mental health care at the Central North Correctional Centre. We are looking for experienced Mental Health Nurses skilled in assessments, intervention, and teamwork.

This temporary position offers unique challenges as part of a healthcare team focused on rehabilitation and self-care of patients in custody. You will conduct mental health assessments, monitor treatment plans, and communicate with community care providers to ensure comprehensive support for all patients. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for patient care
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient responses




• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care

• Contribute to the development of mental health programs

Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse in Ontario
• Enrolled in a mental health nurse certification program
• Knowledge of mental illness and treatment practices
• Experience with community mental health resources
• Strong communication and analytical skills
