Job Title: Rental Technician Location: Whitewater Mountain Resort Department: Indoor Operations Reports to: Rental & Retail Supervisor, Rental Assistant Supervisor Employment Status/Type: Seasonal, Full-Time/Part-Time Compensation: $;(alongside further perks) _____________________________________________________________________ JOB SYNOPSIS: Assisting in the daily operation of the rental shop.

Your primary goal is to provide a quality service in order to help ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience utilizing our rental equipment. IMMEDIATE REPORTS: None SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspection and maintenance of rental bindings, skis/snowboards, and boots.

Cash handling including processing transactions and cash out procedures.

Proper fitting and adjustment of rental equipment, for individuals, groups, and school groups.

Organizing equipment and name lists for daily school visits.

Responding to email/phone inquiries in a timely mannerm Waxing and edge sharpening of guests skis Repairs and service for guests in the repair shop.

Provide excellent guest relations.

Sales of parts products.

Assistance in the retail shop when needed.

Implementation of all risk management procedures as per Whitewater Mountain Resort, Industry and equipment manufacture.

Champion a sustainable approach in daily operations, planning, and development.





Promote Whitewaters safety culture by reviewing and amending where necessary but not limited to: Department Manuals, Employee Handbook.

Work to achieve department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assist in achieving organizational goals Embrace, promote and follow Whitewaters mission statement and values Maintain current knowledge of legal standards pertaining to waivers, equipment, safety regulations, and OHS practices.

Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION: Previous experience in Rentals and Repairs and Industry experience is an asset.

Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment.

Strong administrative capabilities including working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, Power

Point), POS systems and records management.

Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent guest services skills.

Detail Oriented.

Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Reasonable understanding of computerized Point-of-Sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Cash Handling Experience.
