About the RoleBDO Canada is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Construction Advisory and Dispute Services practice. The role focuses on project controls, claims and disputes on complex construction projects from inception to completion.ResponsibilitiesConduct forensic delay analysis, quantum analysis, productivity analysis and insurance loss quantification for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projectsPerform planning and project controls, including progress tracking, cost analysis, and loss quantificationReview project‑related costs such as labor, materials, and equipmentRead and analyze design documents and estimate material quantitiesUtilize planning software such as Primavera and Microsoft Project to extract and analyze dataResearch and interpret document control systems and project information sourcesCollaborate with senior analysts to prepare or respond to delay and cost claims, and to produce expert reportsSupport engagement proposals and contribute to business development initiativesAttend industry conferences and events to expand knowledgeVisit project sites as neededSuccess CriteriaDemonstrate BDO’s core values of Integrity, Respect and Collaboration in all workUnderstand client industry challenges and deliver high-quality work that clients find positive and professionalRecommend effective service delivery and maintain a client-centered approachParticipate in an inclusive and engaging work environment that retains talentAdopt digital tools and strategies to drive innovationGrow expertise through learning and professional development opportunitiesExperience and EducationBachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management,
