The Yard Person will contribute significantly to maintaining SMS Equipment’s yard by handling equipment movements and upkeeping yard cleanliness. You’ll operate various heavy machines, support deliveries, and keep the yard organized and free of debris. This position requires attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely handle and transport equipment within the yard
• Keep equipment clean and ready for use
• Organize machine keys and maintain yard order
• Explicit snow and repair yard fencing as needed
• Load and unload materials effectively

Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 months relevant experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Capability to operate loader, forklift, and crane
• Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
