In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the management team and staff in safety best practices and ensuring that safety protocols align with company policies. You'll conduct hazard assessments and deliver training to uphold the highest standards of workplace safety. Your expertise will shape the OH&S; system, addressing any gaps and driving continuous improvement within safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments
• Develop training materials and safety documents
• Collaborate with the Joint Health and Safety Committees




• Support WSIB claims management throughout their lifecycle
• Analyze and create detailed safety reports for stakeholders

Requirements:
• 5+ years of health and safety experience in a unionized environment
• Completion of a health and safety certification or degree
• Solid understanding of Ontario's safety legislation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Transportation and valid driver’s license required
