Be a vital part of the Daycare Program in Hopedale as a Cook focusing on healthy meals for children. Enjoy a casual position while supporting a nurturing environment.

In this role, you will be supervised by the Daycare Operator and tasked with preparing food that meets Canada's nutritional guidelines for kids aged 2 to 6. Responsibilities include food inventory, prepping for events, kitchen sanitation, and stepping in to assist Child Care Workers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals in compliance with Canada's food guide
• Assist with food inventory and special event preparation
• Clean and maintain the kitchen setting
• Provide occasional relief for Child Care Workers
• Prepare traditional foods for children’s meals

Requirements:
• Completion of a Commercial Cooking Program or equivalent experience
• Proficient in traditional food preparation
• First Aid & CPR certification required
• Bilingual candidates in Inuktitut and English preferred
• Enjoy a casual work term with 4% vacation pay
