This position requires a background in social services, particularly involving addictions and public health. You will work closely with community members, leading harm reduction initiatives and promoting well-being through culturally competent strategies. This role is ideal for those with significant peer support experience and a commitment to community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals in recovery through mentorship
• Design and lead community health initiatives
• Advocate for Indigenous community health needs




• Facilitate health promotion focused on substance use
• Collaborate with local organizations and leaders

Requirements:
• Minimum two years' experience working with peers
• Robust understanding of First Nations cultures
• Excellent public speaking and facilitation abilities
• Reflective practice based on personal experiences
• Possible requirement of a valid BC Driver’s License
