In this position within the Group Benefits department, you will act as a vital resource, providing training and support to enhance staff capabilities. Your experience in Group Underwriting will ensure you create effective training programs that meet industry standards and the needs of various teams. You'll lead initiatives that maintain and improve the quality of Underwriting practices, contributing to team success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train current and current Underwriting team members
• Coordinate case studies and presentations for departments
• Develop tailored training programs for different learning styles
• Implement and oversee Quality Assurance protocols
• Keep underwriting guidelines updated and compliant
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in Group Underwriting or Benefits
• Proven background in adult learning program development
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Relevant certifications like ACS, FLMI, or CEBS are valued
