Osler is a dynamic and exciting place to begin a career or carve out a new path.Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Applications, the Enterprise Application Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, administration, maintenance, support and development of the Firm's Enterprise Systems including but not limited to Aderant Expert, Expert Image, Chrome River, Prebill Viewer, Intapp Intake, Intapp Terms, Intapp Time, Intapp Walls, and custom solutions requiring SQL expertise.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.Major ResponsibilitiesAssists in the on-going function of the financial systems by participating in new projects, developing and maintaining existing systems, maintaining system security, and assisting in implementing upgrades to financial systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose problems related to application systems, software performance & functionalityAssists Finance & Accounting and Information Services Departments with executing all stages of enterprise application lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, programming, integration, and testing activitiesPerform data analysis to facilitate and identify applications' issues & bugs and resolve themDevelop documentation, training, and development of users regarding the firm's financial systems and dataCreate, review and maintain method of procedure, build,
system process and all internal administration documents for the system of their responsibilityProvide guidance and recommendations for performance optimization of firm's enterprise financial applicationsAdministers and monitors Financial Systems (including Aderant Expert, Expert Image, Chrome River, Prebill Viewer, Intapp Intake, Intapp Terms, Intapp Time, Intapp Walls and other custom developed applications) to ensure database integrity, system health, control and efficiencyCoordinate with Finance & Accounting and Information Services teams to analyze information technology needs and work toward recommending solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needsPosition RequirementsEducation and ExperienceThe position requires a University Degree in Accounting or Computer Science. Five years of experience with financial systems or equivalent enterprise applications and databases, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience considered. Experience in the legal industry or qualified services industry is strongly preferred.Knowledge and SkillsExposure to enterprise financial applications' maintenance and support with a professional services firm is requiredKnowledge of accounting procedures, including budgeting concepts and finance and accounting principlesTroubleshooting skills to solve system problems and ability to link components within different enterprise systems (e.G., how a transaction flows through to expense systems, and general ledger)Experience with Aderant Expert and other financial systems in the legal space with advanced Excel and SSRS skills, or similar business reporting toolsAdvanced knowledge and skill in database reporting and report writing tools, advanced user-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL,
