Our dedicated team of engineering professionals ensure top-notch products and services, supported by the Nuclear, Automation, and Industrial divisions.Role DescriptionThe Senior Project/Systems Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership and engineering support across complex projects. This role involves overseeing technical deliverables, supporting project execution, and acting as a key point of contact for internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, the Senior Project Engineer will lead technical problem-solving, ensure compliance with project requirements, and contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects.Core Duties & ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Project SupportProvide technical oversight and support across assigned engineering projectsAct as a key technical point of contact for internal teams, customers, and suppliersCollaborate with Project Managers to resolve technical issues and support project executionSupport and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on priorities and timelinesDevelop and review technical documentation, including design requirements, FMEAs, and design plansPrepare procedures, operation manuals, test plans, and technical specificationsReview engineering drawings and designs to ensure compliance with requirementsSupport design verification and ensure requirements are metProject Execution & CoordinationSupport planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of project activitiesProvide technical input for procurement, requisitions,
and subcontracted engineering workParticipate in design reviews and present technical information to stakeholdersContribute to project reporting, including status updates and progress trackingManufacturing & Operations SupportSupport manufacturing and assist in resolving non-conformances and engineering changesProvide technical guidance for assembly, fabrication, installation, and commissioningAssist with testing strategies and execution for design verificationSupport QA processes including non-conformances, corrective actions, and change managementContribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiativesSupport health & safety and regulatory requirements within project executionQualificationsPost-secondary degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field7+ years of experience in a relevant engineering or manufacturing environment3+ years of relevant nuclear industry experienceStrong technical knowledge across manufacturing, assembly, quality, and project coordinationProven ability to manage complex technical challenges and deliver solutionsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and lead technical aspects of projectsWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageParticipation in our Retirement Saving Plan & Deferred Profit-Sharing PlanOngoing opportunities for professional growth and developmentExciting and complex projects to grow and develop your careerA flexible and supportive work environmentSalary range: $115,000 – $140,000This job posting is for an active, existing vacancy within our organization.
