Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead two high-visibility, complex technology initiatives within a Wealth Management environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of two concurrent projects involving multiple technology teams, business stakeholders, external vendors and technology/integration work. Both initiatives have significant executive visibility and require a Project Manager who can operate independently, provide clear and timely reporting, manage complex dependencies and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands‑on delivery role for an experienced Project Manager who can quickly establish credibility, understand complex environments and take ownership without significant handholding.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of two complex, high-visibility technology projects.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery milestones.

Coordinate multiple technology teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.

Provide clear, concise and timely status updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, commitments, escalations and performance.

Oversee technology integration activities and coordinate dependencies across internal and external teams.

Identify delivery risks early and develop mitigation and recovery plans.

Drive projects toward successful delivery while maintaining appropriate governance and controls.

Manage project financials, forecasting and budget tracking in partnership with project controls/PCO resources.

Facilitate project governance meetings and ensure decisions, actions and accountabilities are clearly documented.

Work across distinct project scopes and business areas while maintaining strong delivery discipline.

Lead issue resolution and escalates appropriately when decisions or executive intervention are required.

Establish strong relationships with executives, business leaders, technology teams and vendors.

Quickly understand existing project status and take over from the incumbent PM with minimal disruption.

Help stabilize projects currently operating under heightened delivery pressure and drive them toward Green status.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of project management experience, preferably within financial services.

Demonstrated experience leading large, complex technology projects .

Strong experience managing multiple teams, stakeholders and workstreams.

Proven experience managing external technology vendors .

Strong understanding of technology integration and delivery environments, including APIs/integration where applicable.

Experience managing projects with significant executive visibility.

Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

Strong financial management, forecasting and budget management experience.

Proven ability to manage risk, issues, dependencies and escalations.

Ability to work independently and take ownership without significant direction.





Strong organizational, prioritization and decision-making skills.

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high‑pressure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Wealth Management or Capital Markets experience.

Experience working with financial institutions or large banking environments.

Experience with vendor-led technology implementations.

Experience with complex integration programs.

Experience taking over projects mid-delivery and quickly establishing control.

Experience managing projects valued a t $10M+.

The ideal candidate is a senior, highly autonomous Project Manager who is comfortable walking into a complex environment and immediately taking ownership.

They should be confident dealing with executives, vendors and technical teams, while being equally comfortable getting into the details of delivery when required.
