Make a difference this Christmas with The Salvation Army as the Coordinator for the Gifts of Hope Program. Your role will support registration and participant care.
As a key player in the Christmas Gifts of Hope initiative, you will spearhead the registration process for families in need. Your duties encompass conducting initial assessments, ensuring productive data management, and collaborating with other community services. You will actively uphold the values of The Salvation Army while fostering connections within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Gifts of Hope registration efforts alongside the Casework Manager
• Conduct intake assessments and data entry for participants
• Cross-check eligibility with other service providers
• Maintain accurate records in the Link2Feed system
• Compile and organize program statistics for reporting
Requirements:
• Completion of high school; a diploma in human services is preferable
• At least one year of relevant experience in social services
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially data management
• Valid BC Class “5” driver’s license with insurance
• Background in community outreach and collaboration
