Join Southwestern Public Health as a Sexual Health Physician at the Woodstock site. This role emphasizes the delivery of client-centered, trauma-informed sexual health services in a flexible work workplace.
This position requires approximately one shift a month, plus additional coverage as needed. You will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for sexually transmitted infections, prescribe birth control, and facilitate comprehensive sexual and reproductive health initiatives. Candidates must excel in a multidisciplinary clinical service model to effectively support diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat sexually transmitted infections and reproductive health issues
• Provide accessible, client-centered clinical services
• Work within policies established by Southwestern Public Health
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
• Certification from the College of Family Physicians or FRCPC
• Experience in sexual health programs or family practice
• Skills in IUD insertions and venipuncture
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle
