The Opportunity
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at MIC, you:

work with our Radiologists each day, reviewing cases, collaborating, and learning.

are part of a team that supports and cultivates camaraderie by sharing ideas, discussing cases, and supporting workload

additional training opportunities in Ultrasound specialties such as Vascular, MSK, Nuchals, Breast imaging and assisting with biopsies. Also, future opportunities in leadership.

work with up-to-date equipment that supports Sonographers health and ergonomics

Role and Responsibilities

Perform high quality, timely ultrasound exams in obstetrics, abdomen, pelvis, small parts, echo, vascular, breast

Provide exceptional patient care

Ensure patient information and relevant history is accurate and complete

Complete worksheets accurately to share with Radiologist

Excellent verbal, written communication, and time management skills

Critical thinking, asks questions and is solution oriented

Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all patients and employees

Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment

Work well within a team and individually

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Graduate from accredited Sonographer Program

Active credentialed Member of Sonography Canada
