The Division seeks a dedicated Geriatric Psychiatrist to support consultation for patients, families, and healthcare professionals in acute inpatient, outpatient, and residential care environments. You will lead a multidisciplinary program while ensuring high-quality care through an innovative island-wide Tertiary Geriatric Psychiatry system. Opportunities to consult for remote populations and involvement in teaching within the Island Medical Program are available, enhancing your role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical consultation to patients and caregivers




• Lead multidisciplinary teams in acute and outpatient settings
• Participate in the NRGH General Psychiatry call rotation
• Engage in clinical service and educational support
• Contribute to the Island-wide Dementia Strategy

Requirements:
• Eligible for FRCPC and BC licensure
• Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry is an asset
• Commitment to ongoing education and program development
• Robust leadership and consultation skills
• Passion for working with special populations
