This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within a multi-entity environment, where you will take full ownership of the accounting function, lead process improvements, and deliver accurate, insight-driven financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Close OwnershipLead the full month-end close process across multiple legal entitiesPrepare accurate, review-ready financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)Ensure all journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations are completed with accuracy and proper accounting treatmentMaintain strong balance sheet integrity through timely and well-documented reconciliationsFinancial Reporting & AnalysisProduce internal management reporting packagesConduct variance analysis against budget and prior periodsIdentify trends, anomalies, and potential control issues proactivelyProvide clear, data-driven explanations and supporting analysisProcess & Internal ControlsEnsure adherence to accounting processes and reporting timelinesMaintain and continuously improve accounting policies and proceduresIdentify inefficiencies, risks,



or gaps and implement practical solutionsEnsure consistent and accurate accounting treatment across a multi-entity structurePayroll & Operational FinanceOversee payroll processing, including ROEs and year-end filings (T4s) in collaboration with HREnsure accurate recording of payroll, advantages, and related liabilitiesSystems & ReportingUtilize accounting systems and reporting tools to enhance accuracy and efficiencyMaintain data integrity across subledgers, payroll systems, and the general ledgerExperience with Power BI dashboards and financial visualization is considered an assetQualifications & Skills:CPA designation (required)7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle closeExperience in multi-entity environmentsStrong technical accounting, Excel, and financial analysis skillsLeadership mindset with attention to detail and accountabilitySchedule:Monday to Friday8-hour shiftsOnsite position (Windsor, ON)Forge Consulting is a growth-oriented organization determined to enable our people to realize their potential.
