Job Description: TD Direct Investing (TDDI) is committed to helping investors build the knowledge, confidence, and capabilities they need to achieve their financial goals. As part of this commitment, the Senior Manager, DI Education Delivery & Strategic Initiatives will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of TDDI's education delivery and strategic growth initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President Direct Investing Distribution, this role is accountable for driving innovative client education experiences, fostering meaningful client and prospect engagement, enhancing High Value Client (HVC) performance capabilities, and preserving the unique culture that differentiates TDDI. The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership, operational excellence, and people leadership to deliver business outcomes while creating exceptional experiences for both clients and colleagues.
Accountabilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the Education Delivery & Strategic Initiatives strategy in alignment with TDDI and Wealth business objectives. Lead strategic initiatives that drive client engagement, business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Partner across Wealth, Marketing, Distribution, Communications, Digital, Analytics, and Product teams to deliver integrated solutions and experiences.
Education Delivery & Modernization Lead the end-to-end education delivery portfolio, including investor workshops, masterclasses, events, and digital learning experiences. Modernize TDDI's education strategy to increase scalability, digital reach, and accessibility. Develop innovative approaches to connect with and educate emerging investor segments, including younger investors and prospective clients. Leverage data, insights, and evolving client behaviours to continuously enhance education program effectiveness and impact.
High Value Client (HVC) Strategy & Performance Enablement Lead strategic initiatives that support client deepening, engagement, and growth within the HVC segment. Enhance and automate the HVC performance ecosystem by simplifying reporting, measurement frameworks, dashboards, and operational processes. Enable data-driven decision making through scalable tools, insights, and performance management capabilities. Drive continuous improvement and adoption of technology-enabled solutions across the HVC portfolio.
Community Engagement & Media Programming Oversee community engagement initiatives, strategic partnerships, and investor-focused media programming. Ensure content, events, and activations support client acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand differentiation. Advance innovative approaches to connecting with clients and prospects through multiple channels and platforms.
Culture, Colleague Experience & People Leadership Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performing team setting. Play a leadership role in preserving and strengthening the unique culture of TD Direct Investing. Champion colleague experience through leadership, engagement, recognition, talent development, and continuous learning.
Build organizational capabilities and develop future leaders while supporting enterprise transformation and change.
Governance & Operational Excellence Maintain strong governance, risk management, compliance, and control practices across the portfolio. Ensure disciplined execution, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement. Lead business planning, prioritization, resource management, and performance measurement activities.
Job Requirements Education & Experience
7+ years of progressive leadership experience in wealth management, client engagement, education, marketing, strategy, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale strategic initiatives and business transformation programs.
Proven track record of developing and executing client engagement, education, content, or experience strategies.
Experience leading high‑performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders within complex organizations.
