Become an On-Call Bus Driver with School District No.48, ensuring secure and reliable transport for students. This role requires a valid Class 2 BC Driver's License and relevant driving experience.
You will assist in the supervision and transportation of students, supporting school activities and daily operations. This position is ideal for candidates with at least a Grade 11 education and a year of driving experience. Knowledge of safety systems and a current First Aid Certificate are also necessary to ensure student safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport students to and from schools
• Supervise extracurricular trips and activities
• Maintain bus safety checks and compliance
• Provide assistance during emergencies with First Aid
• Follow WHMIS and safety procedures as needed
Requirements:
• Successful completion of Grade 11
• Minimum six months related driving experience
• Valid Class 2 BC Driver's License with required endorsements
• Current First Aid Certificate or equivalent training
• Familiarity with workplace safety protocols
