Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join its multidisciplinary team. This role requires effective communication, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech/Language Pathologists. You will be responsible for implementing assigned rehabilitative activities to help patients reach their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing rehabilitative activities for patients
• Collaborate with therapists for effective patient interventions




• Maintain open communication with healthcare team members
• Support patient motivation and progress towards goals
• Follow safety and quality standards in all activities

Requirements:
• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program
• Registration with the BC Care Aide registry
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively interact with patients and team
• Physical capability to perform position duties
