Application Packager Location: Calgary, AB Work Mode: Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent (FTE) Experience: 5+ Years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Application Packager with strong expertise in enterprise software packaging, deployment, Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and scripting.
The candidate will be responsible for creating, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining application packages across an enterprise Windows environment while following established change and release management processes.
Mandatory MUST-HAVE Skills 5+ years of Application Packaging & Deployment experience in an enterprise Windows environment.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Endpoint Manager for enterprise-wide software deployment and lifecycle management.
Proven experience creating MSI/MST packages using Admin
Studio, Install
Shield, and/or Power
Shell App Deployment Toolkit .
Strong Power
Shell/VBScript/WSH/CScript scripting skills with the ability to automate packaging and deployment processes.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and Change/Release Management experience, including coordination with CAB and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Build, test, validate, deploy, update, and maintain enterprise application packages.
Create silent installation packages in MSI/MST format for deployment through Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
Manage software deployment strategies using SCCM/MECM .
Package COTS, GOTS, and custom applications following established workflows and standards.
Perform application discovery and gather technical/business requirements from stakeholders.
Develop scripts to automate packaging, deployment, and configuration activities.
Troubleshoot application deployment and Microsoft Windows environment issues.
Deploy service packs, updates, and emergency security patches.
Maintain clean virtual machine packaging environments and enterprise packaging standards.
Follow Change Management, Release Management, and CAB processes .
Provide status updates, completion estimates, and deployment support to business stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills Strong ability to work independently as a self-starter .

Experience troubleshooting complex issues across multiple environments .
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to current technical and business concepts .
