As an Independent Contractor, you'll plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met. Your expertise in food handling and safety will maintain high standards in the kitchen while collaborating with dietary staff to develop well-rounded menus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and cook meals that meet dietary guidelines
• Serve meals at the right temperature and time
• Collaborate with staff to create nutritious menus
• Monitor food inventory and manage ordering
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:
• Completion/enrollment in Food Service Worker Program
• Chef/Cook Certification, preferably Red Seal
• Valid Food Handler's Certificate
• Experience in Long-Term Care settings preferred
