Reporting to the Dean of Skilled Trades, the Hairstyling Instructional Assistant supports students through hands-on learning and blended education. You will reinforce course content, advocate for student needs, and monitor skill development in both practical and theoretical areas. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with both faculty and students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with theoretical and practical skill development
• Provide support in blended learning and online courses




• Prepare classrooms and equipment as per faculty direction
• Order supplies to facilitate program delivery
• Enforce classroom policies and maintain a respectful environment

Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Experience with online learning tools, especially D2L BrightSpace
• Strong interpersonal skills for student interaction
• Ability to multitask and manage classroom dynamics
• Proficient with computer technology
