Anderson Associates Limited (RVA) invites applications for this role.We are seeking an intermediate Transportation Design Technologist in various locations to work on a variety of challenging projects. The individual will have the opportunity to work on transportation infrastructure projects of varying scope and size that support and enhance community mobility.You will be part of a multidisciplinary group delivering multimodal projects involving roadways and highways, bridges, traffic engineering, and transportation planning.DutiesProviding engineering and technical expertise on multi-disciplinary projectsParticipating in studies, assessments, modeling, preliminary and detailed design using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoadsContributing to reports, drawings, and other engineering documentsPreparing designs for municipal road reconstructions, water/sewer systems, site grading, and stormwater managementCommunicating with clients, consultants, and contractors under supervisionCollaborating with project teams to meet deadlines and budgetsPreparing tender and contract documents, including specifications, quantities, and construction estimatesMentoring junior engineers and technologists as neededQualificationsDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution3–7 years of experience in municipal/transportation design engineering; some consulting experience is an assetStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsUnderstanding of highway geometric design principles, grading,
