Job Title: SAP Fioneer FPSL Functional Consultant Location: Toronto, Ontario (ON) Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 Days Job Type: Full Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP Fioneer Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) Functional Consultant with robust hands-on experience in banking products, FPSL configuration, accounting processes, integrations, testing, and reconciliation.

The consultant will translate approved finance designs into FPSL configurations and support implementation through testing and go-live.

Key Responsibilities FPSL Functional Configuration Configure FPSL objects for banking products including loans, advances, deposits, money market instruments, and securities Configure contract types, contract attributes, event types, event processing, posting schemas, and accounting determinations Support valuation areas, subledger accounting layers, accounting principles, and ledgers Translate approved functional and finance designs into FPSL configurations Accounting & IFRS 9 Implement accounting logic aligned with IFRS 9 classifications including Amortized Cost (AC), Fair Value Through Other Comprehensive Income (FVOCI), and Fair Value Through Profit or Loss (FVTPL) Support Effective Interest Rate (EIR) based accruals, amortization, fees, and charges Support initial recognition, accrual, amortization, and derecognition accounting events Validate accounting outcomes and posting results at contract and General Ledger (GL)



levels Integration Support Support inbound integrations from core banking, treasury, and trading systems Validate event payloads, attribute mappings, and data enrichments Support outbound integration to SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal Validate document splitting, GL account derivations, posting completeness, and consistency Testing & Reconciliation Execute and support Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Perform reconciliations between source systems, FPSL, and General Ledger Analyze and resolve functional defects and posting discrepancies Support go-live preparation, deployment, and post-production stabilization Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with SAP Fioneer Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) Experience implementing FPSL for banking products Strong understanding of subledger accounting and financial products Knowledge of IFRS 9 and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal Experience with source-system integrations and event-based accounting Strong testing, reconciliation, defect resolution, and production support skills Excellent analytical and communication skills Key Skills SAP Fioneer FPSL, Banking, IFRS 9, SAP S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, Subledger Accounting, Event-Based Accounting, GL Accounting, Loans, Deposits, Securities, Core Banking Integration, Finance Integration, UT, SIT, UAT, Reconciliation Job Type: Full Time
